Home Stretch Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Perkasie, PA. Our mission is to provide help to equine and other animals in need by practicing our "Rehab, Retrain, Rehome" methods to ensure each animal is a candidate for adoption.
Adoption
Interested in adopting? Is horse adoption right for you? HSHR encourages you to reach out. We will work with you to find the right horse or animal friend. Our staff will also provide you with the resources you need to ensure the right start with your new pet.
Surrendering
We accept equine and other animals on a case by case assessment. If you wish to discuss the surrender process, you can contact us by email, or call us at

Home Stretch Horse Rescue focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation, retraining, and rehoming of Off-Track Thoroughbred racehorses and other horses in need. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving the needs of horses and the people that love them.
